Eleven East
Eleven East
Eleven East is located just two blocks from I-35 and six blocks from the Texas State Capitol. Eleven East creates a cohesive business core for this historic neighborhood with:

· a total of 96,000 square feet of space
· three mixed-use buildings
· E. 11th Street frontage for all space
· a lively, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere

· a blend of existing buildings with new development

Legacy Estates
Legacy Estates is a single-family residential development that offers 26 live/work lofts. The one-bedroom, two-story homes will offer a small retail or office space on the ground floor, with spacious loft living upstairs.

Street Improvements
A grant from Capitol Metro funded the physical transformation of E. 11th Street.
The most significant improvment is the Dr. Charles E. Urdy Plaza - a unique space that includes a mosaic tile mural by local artist John Yancey, entitled “Rhapsody”, which depicts the heritage of the area, a clocktower and green space.

The plaza’s namesake — Dr. Urdy — is an educator, scientist and long-time community leader

Additional improvements include:
· distinctive gateway arch
· attractive street lighting and landscaping
· transit amenities such as bus pull-ins that allow traffic to flow safely around buses as they stop to pick up passengers, bus stop shelters and new sidewalks
