| Locating a Business in Our Project Area The ARA is seeking experienced business owners interested in relocating to or establishing a business on the East 11th and 12th Street commercial corridors. The Community Redevelopment Plan (CRP), produced by the community and approved by the City Council and the ARA Board of Directors, seeks to re-establish a neighborhood-oriented, pedestrian friendly location for convenience shopping, retail stores, offices and quiet entertainment. Potential locations for business relocation and establishment include vacant lots in the area, underutilized buildings, and Eleven East, ARAs mixed-use development located on the north side of E. 11th Street between Curve and Lydia. The ARA wants to target small and minority businesses as potential owners or tenants of properties. Selected businesses would be able to receive assistance from the ARA in the areas of financing, marketing and management.
